SHIP IT AOG ANNOUNCES RAPID GROWTH, INVENTORY EXPANSION AND NEW FACILITY
ADDISON, TX – September 6, 2006 – Ship it AOG, a leading worldwide distributor of spare parts for the business aviation market, today announced the company’s relocation to a larger facility at the Addison Airport, 4309 Lindbergh Drive.
Ship it AOG has doubled its annual sales each year since its inception in 2000. The new 7,000-square-foot space, at nearly five times the size of the previous business headquarters, has enabled the company to expand their sales force by 25 percent and increase on-site inventories by 150 percent.
"The previous site was insufficient to support our growing business. Our new location will enable us to expand the scope and sophistication of our current services with added space and upgraded technology," said George Miller, president of Ship it AOG. "This move is a part of a strategic plan to upgrade our operations in order to better respond to customer needs and meet new challenges as our market evolves."
In addition to greater square footage, the new warehouse features climate controlled storage and a loading dock for easier accessibility. The facility also boasts an upgraded warehouse management system that supports paperless transactions and ties directly into the package tracking programs of major international shipping companies allowing immediate, on-site status updates of customer orders.
